John Yanagihara (HI)

John has been broke as fuck for the past year but hes still skating. Right now he's living in Boulder, CO and hitting up the mountains as much as he can.  Colorado is full of nuts roads and he's found some ridiculous descents in his few months there.  He's currently working on compiling some sick footage to make a video at the end of the year. Black Velvet is the shets!

Steve Kong (NY)

Born and raised in Brooklyn. During a rough period in his life, Steve found what he needed in skateboarding. From the moment he stepped on a board  he knew he liked going fast. Bombing hills with his friends at a local park, he found out about the Earthwing skate team (downhill and technical sliding team) having sessions every friday. Steve absorbed all that they had to teach him about sliding. Winning and placing in local competions with his unique style of sliding got him noticed by Earthwing and soon he was put on the team. Besides sliding, Steve also uses his longboard to get from point A to B whenever he can, all while dealing with the infamous crowds of pedestrians and short tempered drivers of NYC. Steve works at 4th State Metals as an apprentice machinist and spends his spare time
practicing photography.

Daniel McDonald (NOLA)

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Daniel grew up skating street and parking garages throughout the city. After the effects of hurricane Katrina Daniel was temporarily relocated to the San Francisco Bay area where his passion for speed and downhill riding grew. Daniel spends time apart from skating building longboards and skateboards through NOLA Longboards, and studying Architecture at Tulane University.

Joel Putrah (CO)

After riding slalom for a number of years, Joel found the thrill of downhill skateboarding. He was hooked, and has been doing it ever since. Joel is a rider straight from the heart of Colorado! He has been making boards since he was 17, and is passionate about building for the sport that he loves.

Mackenzie Yoshida (HI)

Living in Hawaii, Mackenzie started surfing at a very young age, deciding he wanted to do it forever.  Whenever he wasn't in the water he was on his skateboard imitating the surf-like moves. As Mackenzie got older he started spending more time on wheels than water.  When Mackenzie first rode a downhill skateboard it was like combining the stoke of skating with the flow of surfing.  Ever since, he has been riding the mountains as much as possible. Within the past few years it has been his goal to start riding hills beyond the island to compete and document every bit of stoke along the way. He is amped to see what the future holds in skateboarding and what his travels have in store for him.

Marc Anderson (CA)

Marc started skating six years ago in Washington State.  He currently resides in Hemet, CA.  Marc has five boards in his quiver, his favorite deck being his Avenger.  No matter where he is or how he skates he wears his BV Slide Pucks.  Marc turns 24 in November, loves really dark beer, and has gone 57MPH on a longboard! Local to Hemet, CA? E-mail Marc for a skate sesh at Noreasontoworry@yahoo.com
